Fuel pressure drops while cranking

• If fuel pressure drops more than 5lbs during cranking, a hard start concern may occur.

• It is recommended that the fuel pump be attached directly to the battery via a relay and the relay should be mounted within twelve inches of the pump using the correct gauge wire.

• Are the battery and battery cables correctly sized?

• Are there any voltage drops during the start procedure?
