High idle

• Have you adjusted both idle stop screws?

• Is the vacuum port on the junction block either capped or attached to a vacuum accessory?

• Is the vacuum accessory in the car leaking?

• Are the vacuum hoses from the manifold to the junction block tight?

• On certain late model Ford and Chevy cylinder heads, primarily those on OEM crate engines, the intake manifold flange of the cylinder head is not milled to the valve cover rail. Verify that the injector is not resting on this flange. Modification of the injector may be required. Please contact us for more information.

• The butterflies may need adjustment. Follow the technique described in “Injector Manifold Adjustments”. If a copy of these adjustments or assistance is required please contact us.
